Records Commission
Mission Statement
The Village Records Commission is established under ORC 149.39 and reviews requests by Department Heads to remove and destroy outdated, non-essential and not required papers and documents. Prior to removal and destruction of any official public record from Village control this Commission must review and approve the request. The Records Commission also puts in place a records retention policy for the various documents required to be maintained by the Village of Roaming Shores according to State Law.
