Contractor Registration Program
Program Mission
The Village of Roaming Shores Contractor Registration program aims to ensure the integrity and quality of construction projects within the community. This initiative requires all contractors to register before undertaking any projects, fostering accountability and professionalism. The mission is to enhance the safety, reliability, and overall standard of construction work, promoting a thriving and secure environment for residents and businesses alike.
All registered contractors are required to provide proof of workers' compensation insurance, general liability insurance, applicable state licenses, and information about their company.
Disclaimer
The Roaming Shores Contractor Registration Program is not a list of "approved contractors". The individuals and firms on this list have completed the Contractor Registration Form, provided proof of insurance, workers’ compensation, and specialty state licenses (when required). The Village does not assess contractors for workmanship, quality of materials, or the quality of their final product. No person shall rely on the Contractors Registry as proof of the contractor’s qualifications or a recommendation. Village residents are solely responsible for determining that the contractor is suitable for their needs and shall accept sole responsibility for their choice.
This is not an exclusive list of the contractors that a resident must choose from. This is only a list of the contractors that are currently registered with the Village. The Village does not require that you pick someone from this list. If you would like to use another contractor, please make sure that they register with the Village prior to starting your project.
