I’ve heard or read some comments that some bills are incorrect or inaccurate.
Unfortunately, each billing cycle some choose to express their concerns or complaints about the current months bill on social media, rather than contact the Village for answers. When were bills sent out and when are they due?
Bills are typically mailed in the first week of the month, and are due 21 days after they are mailed. The Utility Billing Office sends bills out so that the due-date is the last business day of the month.
Customers signed up for paperless billing receive their bills by email as soon as they are generated. If you haven’t received your bill, please contact the Utility Billing Office at 440-563-3132 option 1. Bills not paid by the due date will be charged a $25 late fee.

The Village of Roaming Shores launched a new online billing and payment solution in August 2024, offering more ways to view and pay your utility bill, plus the addition of 24/7 pay-by-phone.
Residents can receive and view bills electronically, make a payment with credit/debit card or e-check, and choose to go paperless. A quick, one-time payment can be made without registering or you can create an account to enjoy more features like setting up automatic payments, saving payment information for later use, and viewing account history.
Upgraded Credit Card Service
The Roaming Shores Utility Billing Office now accepts American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards online. When using credit and debit cards, a 2.8% fee with a minimum of $1.95 will apply.
E-Check
For a more cost-effective option, consider EFT/E-Check payments with a flat fee of $1.95 per transaction. For added security and peace of mind, we recommend using automatic EFT payments –a reliable method that guarantees your bill's timely payment and keeps your information secure.
Other Payment Methods
The Village’s online portal also accepts Venmo, Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, and PayPal Credit. Users can also check their account balance or make a payment 24/7 by calling (855) 615-1819 (a $0.95 IVR surcharge applies).
For those who prefer in-person payments, we accept checks and exact cash at our office, and payments can be deposited in the drop-box outside Village Hall 24/7. Please note, mail-in payments could experience delays with the postal service.

Water Shut-Off and Turn-On Policy
Shut-Off for Non-Payment
Customers who have a delinquent balance may have their water service turned off by the Public Works Department. Customers will see a $25.00 Call-Out Fee and a $25.00 Turn-Off Fee on their next monthly statement. Water shut offs only occur on Monday through Wednesday.

After the previous balance has been paid, customers will have their water service turned back on. Customers will see a $25.00 Call-Out Fee and a $25.00 Turn-On Fee on their next monthly statement.
Customers are required to pay the whole previous balance prior to service being restored.
After-Hours Policy
The Village does not offer an after-hours turn on opportunity. Customers who pay their utility bill after 3pm will have their water turned back on the following business day.
