Village Administrator
The Village Administrator oversees the daily operation of the Village. The Village Administrator's Office implements the vision set forth by the Mayor and Council by supervising village departments, assists in writing the village’s annual budget, and managing the village’s capital projects.
Lukas Darling, MPA
Lukas Darling is the seventh Administrator for the Village of Roaming Shores and joined the team in June 2023. He received his bachelor’s degree in history from Youngstown State University, and a Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University. In 2023, he received a Certificate in Grief Counseling from Queens College in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to serving in Roaming Shores, he served as the Town Administrator for Otterbein, Indiana (pop. 1,140).

Village Solicitor
The Solicitor is the chief legal officer of the Village appointed under ORC §733.48. The Solicitor is appointed by the Council to a two-year appointment. The Solicitor is also responsible for the prosecution and defense of the various court or administrative proceedings to which the village may be a party.
